SAP B1 Support Executive

About the role

A consulting team in Lahore is looking for a practical, problem-solving SAP Business One Support Executive. You will be the main technical and functional point of contact for clients, helping them solve daily system errors, create reports and keep operations running smoothly. The role covers both MS SQL Server and SAP HANA environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve daily support tickets on system errors, user access issues and everyday questions in core SAP B1 modules (Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Finance)
• Write and modify SQL queries and SAP HANA scripts to look up data, fix stuck transactions and clean up the backend database
• Create and customize user reports, printing layouts and interactive client dashboards with Crystal Reports and built-in SAP query tools
• Assist in setting up, troubleshooting and supporting industry-specific add-ons and custom software extensions
• Work with client teams to gather requirements for system changes, help test software during upgrades and give basic end-user training
• Keep written records of recurring issues, client setups and standard solutions, and hand over complex database bugs or custom code issues to senior developers

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field (16 years of education)
• 1 to 3 years of practical experience supporting users in an SAP Business One environment
• Clear understanding of how business workflows run inside an ERP (sale, purchase order, inventory count impacting the ledger)
• Composed approach to client queries, clear communication and practical problem-solving; proficiency in spoken Arabic is preferred

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of MS SQL Server and SAP HANA Studio, including writing scripts, views and basic stored procedures
• Practical exposure to SAP B1 industry add-ons and data loading utilities such as the Data Transfer Workbench (DTW)
