Security Officer (Level I)

About the role

Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO) is seeking a senior Security Officer to protect its PPGL Plant Site in Lahore. The role involves safeguarding stations, terminals, pipelines and related infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security policies and supporting the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce security policies, SOPs and access‑control procedures across the assigned jurisdiction.
• Develop and execute surveillance and security plans for operational sites, including pipeline Right of Way monitoring.
• Supervise security staff, contractors and line walkers, overseeing attendance, performance and invoice verification.
• Coordinate security arrangements for senior management, government officials and foreign visitors.
• Conduct inspections, mock drills and emergency‑response preparedness activities.
• Maintain and monitor security equipment, ensuring proper functioning and maintenance.
• Report incidents, recommend corrective actions and support senior security management in planning and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
• Physically fit (Category A) and 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably as a retired armed forces officer (Major) or equivalent.
• Staff Course qualification (PSC / LSC / ISC) with proven operational and command experience.
• Strong leadership, report‑writing and documentation abilities.
• Fluency in English and Urdu; additional regional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to serve at any PARCO location across Pakistan.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and general computer operations.
• Experience with modern security systems and tools.
