Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

Nzee Foods and Beverages seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting, tax compliance and general ledger activities. The role is independent, focusing on accurate record‑keeping and supporting audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely transaction recording.
• Oversee general ledger accounting, post journal entries and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting by analysing financial data and providing insights.
• Prepare, file and coordinate tax returns and IRS submissions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Implement internal controls, support internal and external audits, and maintain thorough documentation.
• Conduct credit analysis, manage credit and collections, and monitor cash flow.

Required profile

• MBA, BBA, BS Accounting or related commerce qualification.
• Minimum three years of professional accounting experience.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities and knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks.
