Senior Accountant

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. The role focuses on UK accounting, VAT compliance and supporting audit activities while delivering accurate monthly management reports.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements.
- Execute month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables and control accounts.
- Prepare and review UK VAT returns.
- Maintain accruals, pre‑payments, deferred income and fixed‑asset schedules.
- Support external audits and produce financial reports.
Required profile
- ACCA finalist (verified) or MBA in Finance.
- Relevant experience with UK accounts and strong knowledge of UK accounting practices and double‑entry bookkeeping.
- Hands‑on experience with UK VAT returns and audit support.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
- Experience with NetSuite (preferred).
