Senior Accountant

About the role

TOPPAN Security is looking for a Senior Accountant to lead its accounting function. The role will manage daily accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure completeness and accuracy of all accounting records.
• Prepare, review and post journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and adjustments in the ERP system.
• Reconcile bank accounts, inter‑company balances and other ledger accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including preparation of monthly MIS and variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Prepare and review direct and indirect tax returns and liaise with tax consultants and authorities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare audit schedules and maintain effective internal controls.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register, review capital‑expenditure requests and conduct periodic physical verification.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare cash‑flow forecasts and manage banking relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience overseeing day‑to‑day accounting operations.
• Ability to supervise junior accounting staff when required.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance and tax regulations.
• Experience coordinating audits and implementing internal controls.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an ERP accounting system.
