Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will join XATS' finance team in Bahria Town Phase 8, supporting day‑to‑day financial operations. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures accurate payment processing, compliance with statutory obligations, and reliable financial reporting for the Xenel Group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process all business‑related payments and maintain accurate financial records.
• Create accounting entries, verify invoices and payment terms, and support banking activities.
• Ensure availability of funds for payment obligations and manage cash flow.
• Coordinate Zakat, VAT, withholding tax and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Adhere to company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience or part‑qualified (ACCA, ICMA, CMA, CPA).
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, practices and procedures.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, able to present financial information to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Islamabad/Rawalpindi and collaborate in a team‑oriented, process‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with MS Dynamics ERP system.
• Proven experience in accounts payable.
