Senior Accountant – Remote Finance Role

About the role

Edge is launching its Finance vertical and seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to own accounting cycles and financial reporting for global clients. The role is fully remote, offering flexibility across North American time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
• Review complex journal entries and accounting estimates.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity through accurate reconciliations.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Mentor junior accountants and review their work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of professional accounting experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP; ACCA or CA finalist preferred.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and month‑end reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
