Senior Accountant – Remote (Lahore)

About the role

Edge is launching its Finance vertical and seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join a global talent network. The role is fully remote but requires the candidate to reside in Lahore, Pakistan. You will act as a trusted financial partner for internal and external stakeholders while handling accounting cycles for assigned entities.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights.
• Review complex journal entries and accounting estimates.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity through accurate reconciliations.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• Mentor junior accountants and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional accounting experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP; ACCA or CA finalist preferred.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and month‑end reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
