About the role

Our client, HR Business Solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team in Islamabad. The role focuses on UK accounting standards and will support month‑end, year‑end and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow)
Perform month‑end and year‑end closing
Reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables, and control accounts
Prepare and review UK VAT returns
Maintain accruals, prepayments, deferred income, and fixed‑asset schedules
Support external audits and prepare financial reports

Required profile

ACCA finalist (verified) or MBA in Finance
Relevant experience in UK accounts
Strong knowledge of UK accounting practices and double‑entry bookkeeping
Hands‑on experience with UK VAT returns and audit support
Excellent written and spoken English

Required skills

Excel – PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS
NetSuite (advantage)
