Senior Accountant – US GAAP (Remote, Karachi)

About the role

Profiter CPA Group is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong US GAAP knowledge to manage accounting and bookkeeping for multiple U.S.-based clients. This fully remote position is open to candidates residing in Karachi, Pakistan, and offers the chance to work closely with experienced U.S. CPAs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain bookkeeping and general ledger for several U.S. clients using QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare and review journal entries, bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including payroll accounting.
• Assist with business and individual tax preparation.
• Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies.
• Utilize cloud‑based accounting software and AI tools to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Completed articleship (ICAP, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2‑4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a CPA or chartered accountancy firm.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Current residence in Karachi, Pakistan.
