Senior Android Mobile Solution Engineer

About the role

The Offshore Development Center in Lahore is looking for an experienced Android engineer to design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications. You will work on complex features, ensure code quality, and mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable Kotlin code following MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.
• Analyse large feature sets and deliver practical, high‑performance solutions.
• Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest Android programming techniques and Jetpack components.
• Design apps that run smoothly on all Android device types.
• Guide and support junior developers, sharing best practices and latest development trends.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of native Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and the full SDLC.
• Proficiency with Kotlin, including coroutines, higher‑order functions, and extension functions.
• Hands‑on experience with Test‑Driven Development using JUnit, Mockito or Espresso.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components, Dagger Hilt, and dependency injection.
• Solid understanding of SQLite, Room or Realm databases and RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or VSTS.
