Senior Apparel Decoration Account Manager (Embroidery) – Hybrid

About the role

The Senior Apparel Decoration Account Manager leads U.S. customer relationships for Milltex’s MTX Stitches program, turning artwork into production‑ready embroidery specifications. The role blends deep technical knowledge of embroidery and appliqué with account management, supporting brand owners, streetwear designers, college bookstores and corporate merchandise buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end U.S. accounts, conducting Zoom and phone calls during U.S. business hours.
• Translate customer artwork into detailed decoration specifications and tech packs.
• Select appropriate embroidery, appliqué or screen‑print techniques and substrates.
• Estimate stitch counts on sight (within ~15%) and advise on cost‑effective production methods.
• Oversee strike‑off, sample approval and full production to meet SLA timelines.
• Coordinate with factories, production and quality teams, troubleshooting issues such as chenille, appliqué, direct embroidery and print add‑ons.
• Support the MTX Custom program at reduced capacity as needed.

Required profile

• 8+ years of apparel decoration or embroidery merchandising experience.
• Fluent business English, spoken and written.
• Based in Karachi or willing to relocate; hybrid schedule with one on‑site day per week.
• Available to work 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM PKT, Monday‑Friday, and to travel as required.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with chenille, twill/felt appliqué, camo/jersey appliqué, direct embroidery and screen‑print add‑ons.
• Proficiency in stitch‑count estimation.
• Working knowledge of Wilcom, Pulse, Tajima DG/ML or equivalent digitizing software.
• Practical digitization skills (Wilcom EmbroideryStudio or equivalent).
