Senior BIM Modeler

About the role

Archnetix, a provider of Building Information Modeling (BIM) services, is hiring a full-time, on-site Senior BIM Modeler in Islamabad. The role covers architectural, structural and MEP disciplines across the project lifecycle, working closely with architects, engineers and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and update detailed BIM models for architectural, structural and MEP disciplines
• Interpret construction drawings and coordinate model content with design and engineering teams
• Resolve clashes and ensure models meet project standards and client requirements
• Prepare model-based documentation, assist in design reviews and support the generation of quantities and shop drawings
• Mentor junior modelers, contribute to workflow improvements and work with project managers and stakeholders to keep quality and deadlines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination
• Strong communication, problem-solving and team coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple project deliverables while meeting deadlines

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks
• Knowledge of BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and multidisciplinary coordination
• Experience with point cloud data integration, clash detection and model quality control
• Familiarity with Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360 or Aconex
• Knowledge of BIM documentation, drawing standards and QA/QC processes
