Senior Business Intelligence Consultant

About the role

Teknosys is seeking a self‑driven senior professional to join its Data Analytics team as a Senior BI Consultant. The role involves independently leading the architecture, design, development and implementation of enterprise‑wide Business Intelligence solutions enriched with AI and machine learning, acting as the senior technical authority within a consulting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end client engagements from requirements gathering through delivery and handover with minimal supervision.
• Design enterprise BI architectures and define best‑practice patterns across Tableau, Power BI and MicroStrategy.
• Integrate AI/ML models (forecasting, anomaly detection, clustering) built in Python to deliver predictive and prescriptive insights.
• Develop natural‑language‑to‑SQL and conversational analytics interfaces for business users.
• Implement Agentic AI agents for automated insight narration, anomaly alerts and autonomous report generation.
• Prototype AI copilots over semantic layers using RAG, embeddings and vector search.
• Oversee platform upgrades, migrations and performance optimisation to ensure high availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in BI, data analytics or consulting, with a proven record of leading independent engagements.
• Deep hands‑on expertise in at least two enterprise BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy).
• Strong knowledge of data‑science algorithms and ability to implement them in Python.
• Experience with NLP/LLM techniques, Agentic AI concepts and basic MLOps practices.
