Senior Client Growth & Retention Manager (Enterprise Software)

About the role

You will own a portfolio of high‑value enterprise accounts, driving renewals, expansions and overall relationship health. The position operates like a P&L within a P&L, setting commercial direction, negotiating deals and collaborating across functions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive renewal and upsell targets for accounts with $1M+ ACV while maintaining forecast accuracy and margin discipline.
• Lead quarterly business reviews, executive escalations and relationship recovery initiatives.
• Design and negotiate multi‑year agreements, SOWs, SLAs and custom pricing models.
• Coach the team on negotiation techniques, pricing philosophy and deal architecture.
• Utilise GenAI tools daily to accelerate pipeline analysis, improve proposal quality and optimise communication cadences.
• Collaborate with delivery, legal, finance and customer success on a structured weekly cadence to ensure seamless deal hand‑over.

Required profile

• 5+ years of B2B enterprise software sales with quota accountability for renewals or expansions.
• Proven ownership of enterprise relationships with $1M+ contracts and experience navigating complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong financial fluency – comfortable discussing P&L dynamics, revenue recognition and forecasting.
• Boardroom‑ready executive presence and a genuine appetite for accountability and transparent metrics.

Required skills

• Hands‑on proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
• Practical fluency with generative AI tools for data analysis, content generation or operational efficiency.
