About the role
Smart Working offers a full-time, long-term remote position for a Senior Cloud Engineer focused on AWS. You will design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, and support the delivery processes behind it.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Manage EC2 and other core infrastructure components.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes.
- Implement and maintain security and compliance controls, including ISO27001 or equivalent standards.
Required profile
- 5+ years of AWS experience.
- 3+ years of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience, with CI/CD pipeline experience as part of this.
- 2+ years of experience managing EC2 and core infrastructure.
- 1+ year of security compliance experience with ISO27001 or a similar standard.
- Nice to have: SOC2 or GDPR compliance exposure, or strong general security best-practice experience as an alternative to ISO27001.
