Senior Consultant – Data Governance (Strategy Execution & Value Realization)

About the role

Inbox Business Technologies seeks an experienced Senior Consultant to lead data‑governance operations within its Data‑and‑AI vertical. You will ensure strategic initiatives are consistently tracked, reported, and governed against agreed standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate governance processes, templates and tools, aligning with the wider governance office model.
• Provide portfolio visibility, map dependencies, and flag cross‑vertical issues for escalation.
• Track stage‑gates, milestones, risks, budgets, quality and change requests, maintaining accurate delivery‑health status.
• Review solution designs against Enterprise Architecture standards and prepare Architecture Review Board materials.
• Build and maintain KPI cascades, executive dashboards, portfolio reports and scorecards for regular senior‑stakeholder reporting.
• Monitor business value against strategic KPIs, support post‑implementation reviews and validate expected outcomes.
• Develop and maintain governance templates, playbooks and tooling, including day‑to‑day administration of the KPI cascade tool.
• Support periodic maturity assessments of governance and portfolio‑management capability and drive agreed improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance, portfolio/program governance or advisory work.
• Proven experience operating governance processes and building KPI dashboards.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture compliance reviews.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and structured documentation skills.

Required skills

• Power BI (or similar BI platform) for KPI dashboard development.
• Portfolio reporting and KPI cascade management.
• Enterprise Architecture standards review.
• Data governance fundamentals.
• Preferred certifications: CDMP (DAMA), PMP or Prince2, Power BI Data Analyst.
