Senior Corporate Accountant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join a global financial services leader on a full‑time remote basis. The role focuses on complex financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and overseeing month‑end and year‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
