Senior Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will design and implement scalable data pipelines, optimize workflows, and handle large volumes of data while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop reliable, high‑performance data pipelines.
• Construct data sets that meet functional and non‑functional business requirements.
• Automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for scalability.
• Implement best practices for data storage, processing, and retrieval.
• Collaborate with executives, data scientists, and product managers to deliver data solutions.
• Maintain data security and compliance with privacy regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of industry experience as a data engineer or similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaboration abilities.

Required skills

• Programming: Python, Scala, Java.
• Data pipeline tools: Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, AWS Glue.
• SQL and databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Cloud platform: Azure.
• Data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing concepts.
