Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. This remote position focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure for high‑traffic applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement response procedures.
• Work with development teams to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable deployments.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM policies and encryption.
• Optimize containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless architectures.
• Document infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Understanding of networking, security, and compliance requirements.
