Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote)

About the role

You will be the go‑to engineer for maintaining uptime across a portfolio of 50+ SaaS products. Working remotely, you will dive into unfamiliar AWS environments, restore order to chaotic systems, and drive availability above 99.9% through monitoring, automation, and root‑cause analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Execute complex infrastructure migrations, consolidations, and production‑quality automations.
• Diagnose production outages, deploy immediate fixes, and author permanent root‑cause analyses.
• Design, review, and deploy changes in production, assessing safety before execution.
• Lead reliability and standardisation across the product portfolio by creating runbooks, deployment pipelines, and monitors.
• Document findings, automate repeatable solutions, and ensure incidents do not recur.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a substantial SaaS product and scaling reliability across multiple services.
• Expert‑level knowledge of AWS and production‑ready coding skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot in real time, produce 5‑Why analyses, and build robust automations.
• Strong discipline in scope management and daily use of AI tooling to accelerate work.
