Senior Electrical Technician – Panel Manufacturing

About the role

Synergy Corporation is seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to join its production team in Karachi. The role focuses on the manufacturing, assembly, wiring and testing of low‑voltage control and power panels for power generation equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation of the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, wire and test Low Voltage (LV) electrical control and power panels, including MCC, Bus Coupler, ATS, PFI, AMF and distribution boards.
• Install and wire components such as ACBs, MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, overload relays, VFDs, soft starters and related devices.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams, GA drawings and wiring diagrams to guide panel construction.
• Perform cable dressing, ferruling, gland installation, bus‑bar fabrication, sleeving and final panel assembly.
• Carry out continuity, insulation‑resistance, functional and other electrical tests to verify panel performance.
• Diagnose electrical faults, troubleshoot root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and collaborate with engineers and production teams.

Required profile

• Strong practical experience in electrical maintenance within industrial or power‑generation environments.
• Solid understanding of electricity principles and basic electrical engineering concepts.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults.
• Experience with generator systems, switchgear and control panel fabrication is highly beneficial.
