Senior Financial Compliance Associate – IP

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a senior professional to support financial compliance and accountability for implementing partners (IPs) in Pakistan. The role focuses on reviewing budgets, financial procedures, and risk mitigation measures to ensure fiduciary integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Review and support IP systems, processes, budgets, and financial reports, identifying risks and recommending mitigation actions.
• Evaluate IP Standard Operating Procedures, capacity assessments, and performance scorecards, proposing enhancements to improve financial and fiduciary accountability.
• Develop benchmark cost references for IP staff and office expenses to aid budget reviews.
• Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to IP staff on systems and processes.
• Generate data analytics, suggest service standards, and contribute to enhancements of the IOM Pakistan Portal related to IP engagements.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field with at least four years of relevant experience, or high‑school diploma with six years of experience.
• Proven experience in finance, accounting, project finance reporting, and conducting audits or IP reviews.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UN accounting systems and ERP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• High level of computer literacy and ability to produce clear analytical reports.
