Senior Full Stack Node.js Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are an independent software company building AI‑powered SaaS products for text, photo and video processing. We are looking for a senior full‑stack Node.js developer to join us on a remote contract basis, supporting backend services, worker infrastructure and lightweight front‑end components.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Node.js/Express REST APIs with robust routing, error handling and performance optimisation.
• Create and evolve PostgreSQL schemas, write migrations, optimise queries and manage indexes.
• Implement and operate background job queues and workers using Bull, Bee‑Queue or similar technologies.
• Utilise Redis for caching, pub/sub messaging and rate‑limiting.
• Integrate third‑party services and payment providers via webhooks and APIs.
• Write automated unit and integration tests, follow TDD and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain observability through logging and error‑monitoring tools.
• Collaborate via GitHub pull‑request workflows, branch protection and code reviews.
• Build lightweight front‑end interfaces with vanilla JavaScript and Alpine.js.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Experience delivering production‑grade Node.js services.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.
