Senior Go Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Go Developer to design and optimise high‑performance microservices for a global platform serving AI and technology professionals. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to a system that handles real‑time data processing for thousands of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Go microservices with a focus on concurrency, testing and deployment best practices.
• Write clean, idiomatic Go code and influence architectural decisions for backend systems.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and ensure reliable data flow across services.
• Profile, benchmark and refactor existing code to improve performance and scalability.
• Document technical specifications, APIs and deployment processes for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience delivering production‑grade Go applications.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and container orchestration.

Required skills

• Go (Golang) and ecosystem tools such as Go Modules and Delve.
• RESTful API design, HTTP servers and JSON serialization.
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Docker and Kubernetes for containerised deployments.
• Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
