Senior Golang Developer – Remote (Pakistan)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Golang Developer to join the Video Platform team of a European IT firm. The team builds and scales a video‑content platform serving over 100 million users, handling close to 1 billion daily views.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate high‑performance backend services in Go and Node.js within a micro‑services architecture.
• Implement REST APIs and event‑driven workflows using AWS EventBridge, SQS and RabbitMQ.
• Ensure scalability, availability and fault tolerance on AWS (EKS, Docker, Terraform).
• Participate in on‑call rotations, production support and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of backend engineering experience with strong Go proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience building distributed micro‑services and working with cloud‑native technologies.
• Solid understanding of system reliability, monitoring and performance optimisation.
