Senior IT Administrator

About the role

Software Finder is looking for a Senior IT Administrator to own and optimise the entire IT infrastructure that supports our software development and business operations. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance across servers, networks, cloud services, and user environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance; perform upgrades, patching, and preventive maintenance.
• Configure and manage LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure.
• Implement network security controls and segmentation.
• Administer cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), optimise resource usage and cost, and manage virtual machines, storage, backups, and security configurations.
• Deploy and manage endpoint security solutions, conduct security audits, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Oversee backup and disaster‑recovery processes, including regular validation and restoration testing.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support for complex infrastructure issues and assist software deployment teams.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, support, and licensing compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Several years of experience managing enterprise‑grade IT infrastructure in a fast‑paced software environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead reliability initiatives.
