Senior Lecturer – Management Information Technology (Remote)

About the role

Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Senior Lecturer in Management Information Technology to join its academic team on a remote basis. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching, designing up-to-date curricula, and contributing to the university’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously update curriculum materials aligned with current academic and industry standards.
• Deliver engaging lectures, seminars and workshops that foster student understanding and participation.
• Supervise and mentor students on research projects, ensuring academic rigor and timely completion.
• Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary teaching and research initiatives.
• Prepare and submit grant proposals to secure funding for departmental research.
• Conduct original research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Meet annual teaching and research targets set by the Head of Department.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees and accreditation processes.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of post-master’s experience in Management Information Technology or a related field.
• At least one peer-reviewed publication.
• Demonstrated ability to meet performance standards established by the Head of Department.
• Commitment to interdisciplinary teaching and collaborative research.
