Senior Manager - Data Center

About the role

The Senior Manager – Data Center will lead the administration and automation of job schedulers, managed file‑transfer tools, and overall data‑center operations. The role ensures high availability, supports business continuity testing, and drives continuous improvement across the bank’s critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Job Schedulers (Automic) and Managed File Transfer tools (GoAnywhere, Connect:Direct) including BAU activities.
• Design, implement, and monitor automation of data‑center operations with robust exception handling and rerun capabilities.
• Provide prompt reporting of production issues, perform impact analysis, and coordinate rectification actions.
• Enforce high‑availability configurations for primary and secondary sites and support 24x7 rotation shifts.
• Track and resolve data‑center service tickets, monitor application batches, and handle escalations with infrastructure, application owners, and vendors.
• Deploy approved changes across infrastructure platforms and ensure pre‑ and post‑deployment validation.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in data‑center operations, application deployment, and workload automation.
• Strong knowledge of job‑scheduler tools (Automic) and managed file‑transfer solutions (GoAnywhere, Connect:Direct).
• Proficiency with Windows and Unix operating systems, networking concepts, and Oracle/SQL platforms.
• Understanding of cloud concepts and basic business‑application principles.
