Senior Manager – IT Governance (Digital Banking)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the IT Governance function for our Digital Bank. You will ensure that IT strategy aligns with business goals, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite while embedding robust governance practices across the technology landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve IT governance frameworks aligned with SBP ETGRS, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001/22301 and digital banking best practices.
• Interpret, implement and maintain compliance with SBP ETGRS, PSD regulations, relevant circulars, audit requirements and regulator expectations.
• Develop, communicate and monitor IT policies, standards, procedures and controls covering technology risk, information security, data protection, change, release, configuration, third‑party and cloud risk.
• Partner with the Head of IT PMO & Governance to embed regulatory and risk controls in project delivery and review major initiatives for compliance, risk and architectural alignment.
• Identify, assess, monitor and report IT and cyber risks, maintain risk registers, KRIs, dashboards and remediation plans for senior management.
• Collaborate with CTO, senior IT leadership, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Information Security, Internal Audit, business and digital product teams, as well as external auditors and regulators.
• Produce governance dashboards, MIS, committee packs and compliance evidence to illustrate control maturity and risk posture.

Required profile

• 7–8 years of experience in IT governance, technology risk, compliance or regulatory management within banks, digital banks, fintechs or other regulated entities.
• Hands‑on experience with SBP inspections and related regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT or related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications are a plus.
