Senior Manager, National Security

About the role

As the Senior Manager of National Security, you will lead DHL’s security strategy to protect employees, assets, facilities, information, and customer shipments across all operational locations. You will work within an "Insanely Customer Centric" team, driving a proactive security culture and ensuring compliance with global security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security programs and physical security measures.
• Lead security risk assessments, audits, inspections, and investigations.
• Monitor and strengthen security controls to reduce vulnerabilities.
• Manage security incidents, loss‑prevention activities, and crisis response.
• Oversee contracted security service providers and ensure compliance.
• Analyze security data, trends, and emerging threats to recommend mitigation actions.
• Provide security guidance to operational teams and promote employee awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• 8‑10 years of progressive experience in security management, preferably in logistics, transportation, aviation, or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of corporate security, risk management, investigations, and loss‑prevention practices.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage external security providers.

Required skills

• Experience with physical security measures, access control systems, and surveillance technologies.
• Ability to conduct security audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
