Senior Manager Technology – Integration Support

About the role

The Senior Manager Technology – Integration Support will lead the administration, monitoring and continuous improvement of IBM API Connect environments both in cloud and on‑premise. The role ensures high availability of APIs, drives incident resolution and supports architectural decisions for Mashreq Global Network Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, deploy and administer IBM API Connect on cloud and on‑prem VMs.
• Monitor health, performance and availability of the API Connect environment and implement CI/CD pipelines for API builds and deployments.
• Lead incident resolution calls, perform root‑cause analysis and manage backup/restore processes for API Connect subsystems.
• Configure security using TLS profiles and OAuth2, apply patches, interim releases and upgrades.
• Maintain the API Management Portal, manage consumer users, groups, roles and security settings.
• Customize the IBM API Connect Developer Portal, including Drupal theme adjustments and content updates.
• Integrate third‑party tools such as Elastic for analytics and Splunk for monitoring and alerting.
• Collaborate with IBM Technical Support and Sales to resolve issues and provide architectural guidance.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in IBM API Connect administration and support.
• Strong analytical, communication and people skills.
• Ability to work across the full software development lifecycle, from analysis to support.
