Senior Manager – Technology Programmes

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager to own and deliver technology programmes from concept through deployment and continuous improvement. You will translate educational and operational needs into scalable technology solutions, ensuring pilots evolve into stable, long‑term deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end programme delivery, defining scope, timelines, dependencies and risk mitigation.
• Develop high‑quality business and functional requirements, user journeys, acceptance criteria and test cases.
• Manage vendors and partners, aligning on scope, quality and delivery schedules.
• Design solutions for low‑connectivity, shared‑device and limited‑support environments, prioritising reliability and sustainability.
• Define success metrics, analyse data and insights, and drive evidence‑based programme refinements.
• Assess feasibility, value and risks of AI‑enabled tools and guide responsible experimentation.
• Collaborate across academics, field teams, research, evaluation and external partners, translating technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members in structured thinking, documentation and programme ownership.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex, multi‑phase technology or operations programmes.
• Strong systems‑thinking ability with sound decision‑making under constraints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration and mentoring capabilities.
• Fluency in English and Urdu (mandatory).
• Comfort working under ambiguity and pressure.

Required skills

• Practical understanding of AI‑enabled tools (e.g., LLM‑based systems, analytics, automation).
