Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Network Security Engineer will own the administration, monitoring and optimisation of the bank’s security infrastructure. You will ensure that security controls remain highly available, performant and aligned with regulatory requirements while supporting the business’s security needs.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and optimise enterprise security infrastructure and services.
• Monitor firewalls, IPS, WAF and other critical security systems to detect threats and guarantee service uptime.
• Manage security incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead security projects, technology deployments, upgrades and infrastructure enhancements.
• Support secure network, platform and device migrations across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and security standards.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, audit requirements and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enable secure business operations.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in information security operations and network security.
• Strong expertise in firewall administration, threat prevention, web security and access control.
• Hands‑on experience with security monitoring, incident response and problem management.
• Knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery and security governance practices.
• Familiarity with audit, risk management and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and technical documentation skills.
