Senior Patient Advocate

About the role

The Senior Patient Advocate joins LucyRx’s Prescription Optimization Program to help members obtain critical medications they might otherwise struggle to get. Acting as a personal advocate, the role guides members through complex prescription processes, explores patient assistance options, and serves as a vital link between members, doctors, and pharmaceutical companies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Prescription Optimization Program and collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Work directly with clients, members, providers, and pharmacies to maximize program benefits.
• Provide triage, care coordination, and documentation for patient assistance cases.
• Handle inbound calls, manage forms and data, and ensure compliance and a hassle‑free experience.
• Maintain accurate records, follow‑up diligently, and demonstrate a patient‑centric mindset with urgency.

Required profile

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing (any U.S. state).
• Willingness to obtain Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification within six months if not already certified.
• Self‑starter with strong attention to detail and solid time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple deadlines independently.
• Clear communication skills for presenting complex information to members, providers, and pharmacies.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Salesforce.
