About the role

CapiraRx is seeking a Senior Pharmaceutical Formulation Scientist to lead the design, development, and optimization of drug formulations. The role combines hands‑on scientific work with team leadership to drive innovative solutions that meet efficacy, stability, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of new pharmaceutical formulations and improve existing ones.
• Conduct experimental studies, analyze data, and document results.
• Mentor and manage a team of two scientists, providing training and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with quality control, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing to ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot formulation challenges throughout drug development phases.
• Stay updated on emerging formulation technologies and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Contribute to patent applications and intellectual‑property initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development.
• Proven leadership experience managing small scientific teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of regulatory guidelines and quality standards.
