Senior Presales Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Presales Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in network infrastructure and security solutions. The role involves translating customer requirements into robust technical designs, supporting the sales team throughout the opportunity lifecycle, and ensuring successful hand‑over to implementation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to capture technical requirements and business challenges.
• Design and propose network and security solutions, preparing HLDs, BoQs, technical proposals and compliance matrices.
• Support RFPs, RFQs, tenders and conduct technical presentations, workshops, demos and POCs.
• Collaborate with sales, OEMs (Cisco, Huawei, Dell, Fortinet), distributors and internal technical teams.
• Validate solutions with OEMs for sizing, pricing and technical support, and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecom, Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of pre‑sales or network engineering experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Huawei HCSA Pre‑Sales, Fortinet certifications or equivalent.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Cisco, Huawei, Dell Networking and Fortinet technologies.
• Expertise in routing & switching, enterprise wireless, network security/NGFW, SD‑WAN and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Ability to perform solution sizing, technical design, BoQ preparation and product comparison.
