Senior Product Owner – SaaS, Agile & Azure DevOps

About the role

AZ Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to lead the development of a SaaS solution for a port operator. You will act as the bridge between the client and the development team, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements while ensuring timely delivery in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize the project backlog in Azure DevOps, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and epics.
• Gather, document, and refine functional requirements with both the client and technical team.
• Write user stories that meet the INVEST criteria and define verifiable acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, review, and retrospective.
• Validate and approve delivered features against acceptance criteria.
• Communicate progress to the client and internal stakeholders.
• Identify dependencies, blockers, and risks, escalating them promptly.
• Collaborate with QA to define test cases and with UI/UX to ensure design‑functional alignment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product documentation, including flows, business rules, and a domain glossary.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in software development.
• Proven ability to document functional requirements and write user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Strong facilitation skills for meetings with non‑technical clients.
• Experience working with Scrum or Kanban teams and managing multiple items in parallel.
• Nice‑to‑have exposure to SaaS B2B products, logistics or maritime platforms, and basic knowledge of REST APIs.
• Relevant certifications such as CSPO or PSPO are a plus.
