Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead strategic, cross‑functional initiatives across network, optical, carrier, deployment and transport engineering teams. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering projects on time, within budget and according to scope while keeping senior stakeholders informed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead highly strategic, cross‑organizational projects and manage their full lifecycle.
• Create and maintain cross‑functional plans using Smartsheet, collaborating with internal teams and clients to define requirements and timelines.
• Communicate roadmaps, progress, risks, mitigation plans and impacts to senior management and remote project teams.
• Align teams with business objectives, navigate ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.
• Perform project risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies as needed.
• Build strong working relationships with project team members and functional partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• 3‑4+ years of industry experience managing moderately sized projects and programs.
• Proven ability to drive projects to completion despite risks and schedule constraints.
• Extensive knowledge of project and program management processes, tools, templates and reporting methods.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
