Senior Project Manager (Partner Engineering)

About the role

Motive is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the Partner Engineering team. You will act as a strategic collaborator, driving high‑impact projects across engineering, product, and design while improving processes and communication as the organization scales.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to define quarterly/bi‑annual planning, roadmap, objectives, scope and deliverables.
• Create detailed project plans with tasks, timelines, resource allocation and manage dependencies and risks.
• Coordinate design, product and engineering teams to ensure effective communication and decision‑making.
• Monitor project execution, track milestones and provide weekly status updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks and blockers, leveraging appropriate tools and processes.
• Lead sprint rituals such as planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives and demos, ensuring accurate tracking on boards and dashboards.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, organizing retrospectives and extracting key learnings.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience managing technical projects in a cross‑functional environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate with engineering, product and design teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Experience coaching engineers, EMs and PMs to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
