Senior React Native AI-First Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly senior mobile engineer to lead the design and delivery of a React Native application in an AI‑first environment. This is a high‑ownership position where you will shape architecture, translate ambiguous product ideas into production‑ready solutions, and work closely with clients to ensure requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the mobile application architecture in React Native, from core foundations to production.
• Make independent architecture decisions focusing on scalability, maintainability, performance, and reliability.
• Build and maintain backend services in Node.js that support mobile functionality.
• Design, model, and optimize SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Define and enforce quality standards across code, testing, responsiveness, and developer experience.
• Translate ambiguous product needs into clear technical solutions.
• Collaborate directly with clients to ensure smooth communication and requirement understanding.
• Operate in an AI‑first workflow, using AI agents to accelerate research, planning, implementation, testing, and refinement while maintaining engineering judgment.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in React Native, Node.js, and SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining production applications.
• Deep understanding of performance, responsiveness, maintainability, and overall software quality.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on development experience.
• Full‑time availability in a remote environment.
