Senior Software Engineer

About the role

iQansoft is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 5–7 years of professional experience to own technical delivery across multiple products and client projects. This full‑stack position requires strong production experience with React and Node.js and offers the chance to work on end‑to‑end feature development, architecture, and SaaS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver full‑stack features using React and Node.js.
• Handle frontend, backend/API development, and database integration.
• Contribute to application architecture and SaaS solution development.
• Deliver projects and features end‑to‑end, including testing and QA support.
• Work with the Technical Project Manager to scope, estimate, and deliver projects.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical issues and risks.
• Evaluate and use modern development and AI‑assisted tools where appropriate.
• Take ownership of deliverables and ensure high‑quality outcomes.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in a reputable Pakistani software house or product development environment.
• Strong hands‑on React and Node.js experience in production.
• Proven ability to deliver software projects/features end‑to‑end.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, backend/API development, and databases.
• Working knowledge of SaaS, multi‑tenant or multi‑client applications.
• Experience with testing and QA.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently without micromanagement.
• Willingness to continuously learn and grow toward a technical leadership role.
