Senior UK Accountant

About the role

Edge Chartered Certified Accountants is seeking an experienced ACCA‑qualified Senior UK Accountant for its Pakistan office. The firm provides UK accounts, corporation tax, VAT, personal and property tax, management reporting and advisory services across the UK, Pakistan and Qatar. This senior technical position focuses on delivering high‑quality tax and accounting work rather than client‑facing duties.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and self‑assessment tax returns.
• Review junior staff work, identify risks and take ownership of complex assignments.
• Ensure compliance with UK tax legislation and reporting standards.

Required profile

• Full ACCA qualification.
• At least two years of post‑qualification experience on UK accounts and tax matters.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work UK business hours from a Pakistan office.
