SEO Intern

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join Shape Solutions in Islamabad. The role offers hands‑on experience in search engine optimisation, including keyword research, content optimisation and website performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with keyword research and identify relevant search terms.
• Support on‑page SEO tasks such as title tags, meta descriptions, headings and content optimisation.
• Help with off‑page SEO and link‑building activities.
• Research competitors and analyse their SEO strategies.
• Monitor website rankings, traffic and overall SEO performance.
• Identify SEO issues and suggest improvement opportunities.
• Support the content team with SEO‑friendly content requirements.
• Conduct basic website and SEO audits and maintain related reports.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
• Strong interest in learning and developing SEO skills.
• Good research, analytical and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Organisational and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to receive feedback and improve.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree or current enrolment in Marketing, Business, IT, Computer Science, English or related field.
