Shift Supervisor – Metallization Operations

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Shift Supervisor to lead our metallization line at Baofeng Metallizer. You will oversee operators, ensure machine performance, and drive production targets while minimizing downtime and scrap.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise metallization operations during assigned shifts, meeting production and efficiency goals.
• Operate and troubleshoot Baofeng metallizer issues such as OD fluctuations, web breaks, vacuum inconsistencies, and aluminum deposition problems.
• Monitor production KPIs, product quality, wastage, and aluminum consumption, ensuring compliance with customer and company standards.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, maintain production records, and implement corrective actions for customer complaints.
• Enforce safety policies, PPE compliance, and conduct safety briefings for the team.
• Train, guide, and motivate metallizer operators and helpers.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, startup/shutdown procedures, and proper handling of consumables and machine settings.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Process Instrumentation or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in induction metallization.
• Proven experience supervising metallizer operators or independently running shifts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of vacuum metallization, OD, barrier properties, and common metallization defects.
