Site Civil Engineer – Residential Project (Contract)

About the role

The client, an overseas owner, seeks a Site Civil Engineer to act as their on‑site representative for a residential development in DHA Multan. This is a full‑time, site‑based contract lasting 4–6 months, responsible for supervising construction from foundation to finishes while ensuring compliance with drawings, bylaws, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work follows architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Identify and report any drawing conflicts or site deviations immediately.
• Verify layout, setbacks, covered area, and height against approved plans and DHA Multan regulations.
• Check reinforcement details before each concrete pour and obtain owner/consultant sign‑off.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity, reconcile delivery challans, and report wastage.
• Validate contractor and labour measurements before payments.
• Provide daily photo/video updates and a weekly written progress report with next‑week plans.
• Manage contractor, mason, steel‑fixer, and MEP teams while maintaining site safety, storage, and housekeeping.

Required profile

• BSc Civil Engineering or DAE (Civil) / relevant diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on site experience on similar residential projects; DHA or private housing scheme experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings independently.
• Based in Multan with own transport preferred.
• Honest, punctual, and available on‑site during working hours.

What we offer

• Monthly salary negotiable between 35,000‑50,000 PKR, based on qualification and experience.
• Completion bonus payable on satisfactory contract completion, contingent on work quality, schedule adherence, full documentation, and defect‑free handover.
