SOC Analyst Level 1 – Security Operations Center

About the role

The SOC Analyst L1 joins Zones' Security Operations Center to monitor, investigate, and respond to cyber‑security incidents across customer IT environments. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure threats are identified, contained, and remediated while maintaining high‑quality service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor customer infrastructure for security threats and anomalous activity.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, apply fixes, and document solutions.
• Conduct technical analysis of impacted systems to determine scope and recovery steps.
• Collect and validate evidence for incident response and produce detailed reports.
• Assess security controls for weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Perform threat and vulnerability analysis to anticipate future risks.
• Share knowledge with teammates and mentor junior staff.
