Social Media Manager (Karachi)

About the role

The Social Media Lead will own the strategy, editorial direction, publishing rhythm and performance of Torque Corp’s social channels and assigned programs. This role blends strong writing, sharp visual judgment and the ability to turn live work into timely, mobile‑first content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an audience‑led social media strategy with clear objectives, content pillars and channel priorities.
• Plan and manage monthly and weekly content calendars, creating recurring series that showcase ideas, work, people and results.
• Write copy, captions, scripts and creative briefs that match the brand voice for each platform.
• Coordinate designers, photographers, videographers and internal contributors to produce high‑quality assets.
• Schedule, quality‑check and publish approved content, ensuring correct formats, tags, links and calls to action.
• Monitor comments, messages and mentions, responding in the appropriate tone and routing qualified inquiries.
• Build organic campaigns for programs, events and employer branding, and coordinate paid promotion when approved.
• Track reach, engagement, watch time, saves, shares, inquiries and conversions, using data to improve future content.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, design or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years of hands‑on experience in social media, content or digital marketing, preferably in a lead or ownership role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating strategy, copywriting, campaign thinking and content execution.
• Excellent written English; Urdu fluency is a plus.
• Strong visual judgment, attention to detail and ability to shoot clean mobile content.
