About the role

WayForth is a media production house that creates short‑form social content for multiple platforms. They are looking for a self‑driven Social Media Video Editor to produce high‑volume vertical videos optimized for mobile viewing.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and produce a high volume of short‑form vertical videos daily for Snapchat, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Use advanced Premiere Pro features such as multi‑camera editing, keyframing, color correction, and precise audio sync.
• Create motion graphics, text animations, lower thirds, and basic visual effects in After Effects.
• Execute fast‑turnaround edits in CapCut, adding auto‑captions, trending templates, and effects.
• Apply platform‑native pacing to capture attention within the first few seconds.
• Stay current with social trends, sounds, and meme formats and integrate them creatively.
• Manage multiple branded channels, maintaining organized file structures and version control.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to keep brand messaging cohesive.

• Excellent organizational skills for version control and asset management.
• Reliable under deadline pressure and able to take direction and revise quickly.
• Strong storytelling sense and ability to adapt editing style to different brand voices.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Advanced proficiency in CapCut.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
• 1‑3+ years of editing experience for social platforms (Snapchat, TikTok, Reels, Shorts, YouTube).
• Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating high‑volume short‑form editing.
• Experience with multi‑camera editing, keyframing, color correction, audio mixing, captioning, subtitling, and basic graphic design.
