Socks Knitting Machine Operator

About the role

The Socks Knitting Machine Operator works full‑time on‑site at MSL Legwear’s Faisalabad facility, operating and monitoring knitting machines that produce high‑quality socks. The role ensures continuous, efficient production while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up knitting machines according to product specifications and adjust settings as needed.
• Thread, calibrate, and monitor machines throughout the shift to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform routine visual inspections of socks during and after production to verify quality standards.
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving mechanical issues or breakdowns.
• Carry out minor maintenance and adjustments using hand tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in textile or hosiery production, preferably with socks knitting equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic literacy and numeracy to read instructions, production orders, and record data accurately.
• Willingness to work in shifts as required and participate in on‑the‑job training.
